The Cardiologist's Wife's Chocolate Too! Diet:
An any-time crowd pleaser. Make it by the truckload.
Cooking spray
3 skillets
3 20 oz (1.25 lbs) pkgs Fat-Free GroundTurkey
2 28 oz cans Crushed Tomatoes
3 medium onions, diced
Taco Seasoning Mix, 2 packets per pound of turkey
3 cans Dark Kidney Beans
Spray each skillet with cooking spray.
Sautee the turkey thoroughly. Lower heat. Pour off all drippings.
Add the crushed tomatoes, onions, and Taco Seasoning. Stir.
Add kidney beans, stir again, and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Per 4 oz serving: 210 calories
Serve with diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, & fat-free cheese if desired. For that add 30 calories for each cheese slice.

Note: More effort is required stirring/separating ground-turkey “crumbles” than with high-fat, slippery saturated-fat ground beef.
Also, when cooking poultry be sure to pour off all drippings, which are liquid cholesterol. Fish & poultry both have cholesterol; what they don’t have is saturated fat.
